EVERLINER POND LINERS

PondGard EPDM RUBBER LINERS

Extremely flexible, Firestone PondGard EPDM rubber liners adapt very well to the irregular shapes of decorative ponds. Pond builders appreciate its ability to conform to the shelves needed for plant containers. Landscapers prefer it for its ease of installation. When finished, your pond will have a "natural" look. Our 45 mil rubber liner is UV stabilized and impervious to extremes of temperature. It will remain flexible in all conditions without cracking or blistering. Its expected life is over 30 years when fully exposed to the sun. We strongly recommend you have our pond liner samples in hand before you order.

Estimating The Size Of The EPDM Liner

EPDM Pond Lining Estimator
LengthWidthDepth

Pond Shape:

Estimated Pond Volume:
Apron Size: Area:
Final Length: Width:
Approximate weight:

To estimate the amount of material needed:

  1.  Measure the length and width of the pond.
  2.  Measure the depth of the pond and double it. Add this number to both the length and width measurements.
  3.  Now add 5 feet (2 1/2 feet per side) to the length and to the width for the apron (see the illustration below) on a small pond. (Length x Width is less than 1000 sq. ft.). Add 10 feet for the apron and trench on a large pond.
  4. OR, If the pond has already been dug, measure across the bottom (length & width) and add material for the apron.

INSTALLING AN EPDM LINER

"Our pond is up and running and we have VERY happy koi who thank us everyday for their new home.
The EPDM liner was a joy to install and is nearly wrinkle free. You cut the material perfectly and we cannot tell you how pleased we are with your product. The softness of it made it so easy to work with. It is ideal for the small pond owner. Our fish thank you very much."

AFTER THE LINER IS IN

Once the liner is in, you will want to put in a pump to circulate the water and a filter to remove debris. You may also want to consider a pond aerator to oxygenate the water for fish and other pond life, beneficial bacteria to help improve the pond's quality and clarity and perhaps a water feature such as a waterfall or a fountain.
